Rugby tests are in the books, and as we finish our journey in Foundations PE, we have a few things left to do: RETESTS; anyone that wishes to retest on a physical skill in rugby, i.e. short pass test or long pass test, can do so Friday or Wednesday at the latest RETAKES of rugby rules tests need to be scheduled and taken on Friday or Wednesday at the latest.
FINALS: We have the five Presidential Fitness tests for your final exam. If you score a SUPERIOR in 3 of 5 categories you will earn an 'A'; if you do not score superior, yet beat your previous record on 3 of 5 categories, you will receive an 'A-'. Other lesser scores receive a 'C'. You may retest on all five of those tests until you are happy with your score. As of this time, we have tested MILE RUN; SIT AND REACH; SIT-UPS...and have PUSH UPS AND SHUTTLE RUN left to do on Friday.
FITNESS EXPLORATION PROJECT: due on WEDNESDAY, June 19 - 25 points**
**5 of 5 SUPERIOR marks or 5 of 5 RECORD BREAKERS negate the project.

Finals Week Schedule
The FINAL for Freshman PE is comprised of muscular fitness, cardiovascular fitness, and flexibility tests. Students can earn an 'A', superior mark in PE by either: improving on a majority of fitness tests (3 of 5) or scoring a 'SUPERIOR' mark in 3 of 5 tests, whichever comes first. The tests are: MILE RUN - PUSH UPS - SIT UPS TIMED - 20 YD. SHUTTLE RUN - SIT AND REACH TEST. Extra credit assignments will be released on Monday, January 28, 2012.
